Nuvi

Delete your data

There is no account to close. One button in the app removes everything, and email works too.

In the app: Delete all data

  1. Open Settings in Nuvi. Open Nuvi on your iPhone or iPad and go to Settings.
  2. Choose Delete all data. Scroll to Delete all data and tap it. Read the confirmation: it lists what will be removed.
  3. Confirm. Confirm. Nuvi deletes the records on the servers and the copy in your iCloud first, then the data on the device. You need to be online.
  4. Cancel any subscription separately. Deleting data does not cancel a subscription. Cancel Nuvi Pro in your App Store account settings if you no longer want it.

What "Delete all data" removes

  • On your device: every recording, transcript, summary, note and to-do, your profile, your custom vocabulary, the voices Nuvi remembers and the widgets' copy of your latest titles.
  • In your iCloud: the copy of your notes in your private iCloud. Your other devices remove their copies when they next sync.
  • On Apple Watch: the watch deletes its recordings, sent or not, when it next connects to your iPhone.
  • On our servers: the records held under your anonymous identifier: usage counters, subscription status and the identifier itself. Uploaded audio is not waiting there in any case; it is deleted when a transcript is returned, and at most one day after upload.

This cannot be undone. If the servers or iCloud cannot be reached, nothing on the device is deleted and the app asks you to try again when you are online, so a deletion is never half done.

Deleting one note

Open the note or meeting and choose Delete. The recording, the transcript and the notes are removed from that device and from iCloud; your other devices remove them when they next sync.

If you already removed the app

Uninstalling removes the data on that device, but not the copy in your iCloud and not the usage records on the servers. The simplest route is to install Nuvi again, let it restore, and use Delete all data. You can also remove the iCloud copy yourself in iOS Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Nuvi.

By email

Write to support@ege.md and ask for your data to be deleted. Because there is no account, name or email address attached to your data, we need the anonymous identifier from your app to find your records; we will tell you where to find it. We can delete what our servers hold. We cannot reach into your device or your private iCloud, so those copies are removed with the steps above.

What deletion does not do

  • It does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are managed in your App Store account settings.
  • It does not remove summaries or PDFs you already shared with other people.
  • Purchase records that Apple and RevenueCat keep for the subscription are held under their own policies.
