Nuvi

Terms of Use

Last updated:

These terms apply when you use the Nuvi app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch and the service behind it. Nuvi is published by Ege Beşe, an individual developer ("we", "us"). By using Nuvi you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Apple's licence agreement also applies

Nuvi is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These terms add to it. Apple is not responsible for the app or for supporting it.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Nuvi on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store rules. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or modify the app, except where the law gives you that right.

3. Your content

Your recordings, transcripts, summaries and notes are yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

  • Record lawfully. Depending on where you live, recording other people may require their consent. Tell people before you record them. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.
  • Do not use Nuvi to record anyone secretly where that is illegal, or to break anyone's rights.
  • Do not abuse the service: no attempts to get around usage limits, to overload or disrupt the servers, to access the service other than through the app, or to share or resell access.
  • Do not upload content that is illegal.

5. Free plan and Nuvi Pro

Nuvi can be used for free within limits. Today, the free plan transcribes the first 10 minutes of each recording, up to 30 minutes a month. Nuvi Pro transcribes up to 60 minutes per recording with no monthly limit, subject to fair use, and adds further features shown in the app and on the pricing page.

Fair use means normal personal or professional use by one person. We may slow down or limit use that is automated, or that is far beyond normal use and affects the service for others.

These limits and features may change. The current ones are shown in the app.

6. Subscriptions

  • Nuvi Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple. The available periods (such as weekly, monthly or yearly) and the price are shown in the app before you buy.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app or your data does not cancel it.
  • If a free trial is offered, its length and terms are shown at the time of purchase. When the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged unless you cancel before then.
  • Payments and refunds are handled by Apple. To ask for a refund, contact Apple.

7. AI output

Transcripts, summaries, decisions, action items, speaker names and answers are produced by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete or attributed to the wrong person. Check anything important against the recording. Nuvi is not a substitute for professional advice, including legal, medical or financial advice, and is not an official record.

8. Availability

Transcription and summaries need an internet connection and our servers. We try to keep the service available, but it may be slow, interrupted or unavailable at times, and we may change or stop features. Your recordings stay on your device even when the service cannot be reached.

9. Ending use

You can stop using Nuvi at any time. "Delete all data" in Settings removes your data; cancel any subscription in your App Store account settings. We may suspend or end access to the service for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

10. No warranty

Nuvi is provided "as is" and "as available". We give no warranties beyond those the law requires. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost data or lost profits, or for decisions made on the basis of AI output. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Nuvi in the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not permit them.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version will be published on this page with a new date. If you keep using Nuvi after a change, the new terms apply.
