What people record with Nuvi

Nuvi records what happens in the room. These pages show how it handles each situation, with the limits stated plainly.

  • Meetings and 1:1s

Put the phone on the table, tap Record and take part. Afterwards you get a transcript split by speaker, a summary with decisions and a to-do list.

  • Lectures and classes

Record a class you are allowed to record, then get a transcript, a summary of the key points and a way to ask what was said about a topic.

  • Interviews and research

Record an interview with consent and get a transcript split by speaker that you can question afterwards. Check every quote against the recording.

  • Voice memos and ideas

Record a thought on your iPhone or your wrist. Nuvi turns it into a Note with a transcript, a short summary and any to-dos you mentioned.

  • In-person sales and customer conversations

Record an in-person customer conversation with consent and get a summary, the decisions and the action items, with owners and due dates when they were said.

  • Founders and solo operators

Record co-founder syncs, customer interviews and your own thinking out loud. Nuvi keeps the decisions and the follow-ups, on your device and your own iCloud.

  • Client consultations

For consultants, coaches and advisers who meet clients in person. Nuvi makes no compliance claims, so this page explains how audio is handled and where it does not fit.

Recording other people may require their consent depending on where you are. Tell people before you record. Is it legal to record a meeting?

Nuvi does not join online calls or record phone calls. If that is what you need, the comparison pages point to tools that do.
